Remember when washers and dryers would last generations? This one made it 28 months.... but dont worry LG has a flat rate repair service that is only 1/3 the cost of a brand new dryer

LG provides free installation. Their installers came and forced the washing machine into place bending the back of the unit. Bending the supply line breaking the drain line which caused it to leak and damage my ceiling since it is on the 2nd floor. I keep being told I will get a call back for help. It has been 5 days no one is calling to help me. We have no washing machine and now a wrecked wall ceiling and washing machine. DO NOT BUY. LG does not care about the customer. The customer service is terrible.

This is a warning about my experience with my LG dryer. Ive never written a comment before but I felt it important to share my recent experience. I bought the LG washer-dryer combo for its larger capacity hoping to wash large comforters at home instead of at a public laundromat. The salesperson assured me that LG quality had improved. The dryer was installed without issues but we didnt use it for a couple of days. When we finally did the dryer made a persistent rattling noise when closing the door indicating something was loose inside. To ensure this wasnt normal I tested the same model at other stores and found no similar issues. I reported the problem to the local store a week later requesting a replacement but they only offered to send a technician to disassemble my brand new dryer. Who wants their new dryer taken apart immediately? Hoping for a better resolution I contacted the LG Presidential Office but they offered the same unsatisfactory response. My main complaint is that the dryer was defective upon installation and I shouldnt have to deal with a disassembled or rattling unit. My advice is to thoroughly inspect the product before installation. Once its plugged in and used it becomes your problem to fix or live with. LG has lost a customer.

Fantastic Dryer

Love my dryer. With a family of 5 we needed something much larger to handle the familys laundry needs. This dryer not only dries the clothes much in a shorter amount of time but it also allows me to dry all of our comforters. I no longer need to visit the laundromat.

We have had our new LG dryer for a couple of months. Pleased with the actual drying capability. The app does not work and that is not good. Long time on the phone with LG with no progress. Had to go through the process on the phone too many times with no result. Now we have to send photos etc. Not pleased about that. The motor had to be replaced so that was not good. Initially a third party was supposed to be used though after looking them up they had an F on the BBB and had reviews saying they made dryers specifically LG worse and were not a good repair company. Credit to LG that they listened to me sent their own repair person who came quickly did the work well and knew what he was doing. This replaced an LG dryer we had as we changed from electric to gas. The old dryer was white and the new one black white no longer made. The top of the old dryer about ten years old never scratched and always looked new. This dryer scratches easily and the scratches show. Wondering if it is a change in quality. Obviously this is a mixed-bag review. Hoping the app issue is solved soon.

I have 5 adults and several pets living in the house and wanted to get the biggest and most efficient machines that I could. We got the gas washer and dryer set and the stands. PROS: Capacity is very large. They wash and dry much more quickly then my old units. They look very nice. The height when on the stands is good a little low as I need to bend down a bit to unload but it it a good height to drop everything in a laundry basket. The app notifications are super handy. Its great to know that I can go out and swap loads and not have to keep checking them. CONS: I really did not want a smart appliance Ive always felt that is just one more thing that can go wrong. The settings are not as flexible as my old unit. Once you choose a setting there are very few changes that can be made. I prefer to dry everything on a low heat setting as it is less damaging to clothes but had to download the option. I would prefer that each of the standard settings allowed more tweaking. The app seems to be fine. But I would prefer the option to make more changes to the standard options. All in all I am happy with the units. I hope that they hold up well.

Will never buy from LG again. Sold a defective machine letting gas out of it and refused to schedule service under warranty. I had to purchase a new machine give the time constraints. Save yourself a headache and buy a different brand.

Once installed and turned on the inside of the Dryer was omitting a significant amount of gas. In order to avoid an explosion the Dyer was immediately turned off and unplugged. I reached out to LG customer service multiple times requesting that the unit be removed from my property and not to experiment with the Dryer on my property as this poses a risk to my life and property. Not only were my concerns discounted but LG also closed my case and said to contact the dealer Home Depot. Based on the above I have a foundation to assume LG sold a counterfeit Dryer and quickly closed my case which indicates a larger fraudulent scheme with risks to human life. 8 months later LG sent a service provider who tested the machine for gas level with my gas line off and said their is no gas obviously there will be no gas if gas is still off. As part of the service they turned off my range gas line requiring me to inquire extra cost to determine why my range wasnt working. Given LG sent incompetent service I have a further foundation to assume LG is engaging in a fraudulent scheme. Save your life time and money.

Purchased in Nov delivered in Feb was installed with propane changeover. April it dies and service showed up in May and replaced main power board. Working good now. For now needs to prove itself still. Like the features and the smart function. The release says I received it at a discount for my review but I payed full sale price.
