Omg this answered my prayers . We desperately needed a new fridge and this one was in stock and available to deliver right away. It was not my first choice and I was upset because I felt I was forced to settle based on delivery and price. I love this fridge it is so quiet and spacious the door bins hold a lot. Refrigerator works great but is a bit loud for what we™€™re used to. Learning to deal with that but overall it cools just fine and is a functional refrigerator without a bunch of fancy amenities. The doors appear to have been wrapped in plastic before they put the rubber gaskets on so it™€™s been a chore to get it off cleanly - needed to take a blade and cut it so we didn™€™t have a bunch of plastic hanging all over the place. Luckily we didn™€™t scratch the finish.

Purchased from Lowes 3 weeks ago, so far we have been thoroughly satisfied with our purchase. We chose this fridge for it's massive cu.ft. storage, the clean, well though out shelve designs and the in-door ice/water is sleek and takes up very little room inside compared to similar designs from other brands. Another design feature that helped us chose this fridge was the hinge design of the French doors allows them to swing wide open without extending muchbbeyond the width of the chassis. This was important because we have an interfering wall on one side. This replaced the side-by-side fridgidaire that came with our home, nothing wrong with the old one either just not enough space for a family of 5 and a wife who bakes often.

A lot of fridge in a small footprint

Our 25 year old Kenmore elite side-by-side was still working, but it was time to retire it. We wanted a French door configuration but had to find one that would fit between our granite countertops. This model's cabinet width worked perfect with the 36" gap. Layout inside is great. Spacious, lots of side shelving and a full width deli drawer. Water, air, and produce filters are easily accessible. We configured it with 3 shelves on the right side, so tall stuff fits easily on the left. Freezer has plenty of room and a slide out top drawer. The ice maker and dispenser work well, with adequate lighting. The ice cubes are smalI, but the bucket holds a lot of them, and the horizontal auger keeps them from clumping up. I especially like the front control panel with temp display and adjustment, along with power outage, high temperature, and door ajar alerts. The freezer boost helps recover the temp quickly when loading new groceries. The only thing we're getting used to are the noises. Our old Kenmore was pretty quiet. The Frigidaire isn't necessarily louder, but it is different. At various times it hums, gurgles, clicks, and whines at a higher pitch frequency with the Energy Star compressor. Just be aware it might take some time to get used to. Overall we're happy with this purchase, especially with the sales price.

I like the refrigerator. I would say there are a few things that I believe should be on the refrigerator that aren't. The 1st thing is that there is no way to view what the current temperature is of the cooler and the freezer. You can only view the set point. The 2nd issue is the basket in the freezer does not fit very well. You have to remove the retaining clips to remove it and clean it. My other issue is that an owners manual does not come with the unit. I had to download it. For paying close to $2000 I would think that a manual should have been provided. I think more decals with instruction on the fridge door would be helpful for locating the 6MM Allen head door adjustment screws or how to remove the water line out of the back cabinet when removing the left door.

I really enjoy this refrigerator. It has a tremendous amount of space both in the refrigerator and the freezer, maintains temperature very well, and looks amazing. There are some things I would change. There are locked in place bars in the freezer, which lessen the functionality. So for example, if I want to freeze an entire brisket, I can™€™t. Also, there™€™s no internal temperature so I don™€™t know how cold it is inside. Other than that, absolutely love it.

We purchased the Frigidaire FRFS2823AD refrigerator in December 2024. Overall we are happy with the refrigerator except for the flavor of the water dispensed from the water dispenser on the refrigerator door. We've "flushed" the system multiple times (3-4 gallons per flush) and changed the water filter and water is still undrinkable. Our bottled water purchases have increased exponentially. I cannot recommend this refrigerator based on the ongoing water taste issue. One other note, the refrigerator is quite loud and runs continuously.

Enjoying my new Frigidaire 28 CF Black Stainless Steel French Door Refrigerator!

Our former refrigerator stopped maintaining the freeze and refrigerator temperature and we had to get a new refrigerator-freezer ASAP. Luckily I had done my research on the best refrigerators to buy and was able to go to our local Lowe's and buy this new Frigidaire 28 CF Black Stainless Steel French Door Refrigerator and have it delivered right away! We love the design in and out and that it matches the other kitchen appliances in black stainless steel. It seems a bit noisier when running through its cycles and one other minor factor is that you cannot open the right produce door only opening the right refrigerator door due to the left door flipper mullion. Overall, we are very happy with our new Frigidaire refrigerator.

This model has a very spacious interior and excellent ice maker and water dispenser. It is also very quiet but there is a lot to factory protectant film on all three door edges that require a LOT of time to remove the edges as it is very unsightly. A sharp knife or razor was needed to remove it all.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH NEW FRIDGE THAT CAME BROKEN

If there was an option for ZERO stars that™€™s what I would give this company! I would NEVER buy a Frigidaire appliance after what we have went through with our new fridge purchased in December. Since we hooked it up our ice machine and water haven™€™t worked as well as the food constantly freezing in the fridge no matter what we have the temp set at. Currently it is at 44 and still freezing food. And no it isn™€™t in front of any sensors! We have contacted Fridigdaire for help and they have sent an appliance company to come look at it/fix it. We are 2 hours from the nearest one. Fast forward FOUR visits from technicians and 3 months later it still isn™€™t fixed and Frigidaire customer service is giving us nothing but a run around! Not to mention that appliance company has deemed the fridge UNFIXABLE and they still won™€™t do anything about it! Every-time we call back it™€™s another story from them! I wouldn™€™t waste my time or money on this brand! Especially if it comes broken you WILL NOT get the help needed or the appliance replaced!

In 2.5 years I've had the ice maker fixed twice. The door won't adjust anymore and rubs together. Now the board shows of off and won't reset. I have to call to have a service tech come out again. I have spent an additional $1k on this thing and I'm done!!

The motor is a lot louder than our old refrigerator. Also the left door tends to bind against the right door when you have only one hand to close the doors.

A great fridge!

We have had this fridge about a month now. It has been wonderful. The refrigerator is quiet. It started cooling so quickly. The lights inside are so crisp and bright. It has great room for all size products inside. We like the door bins that hold 2 gallon of milk which clears up so much other room. The auto close doors can be a lifesaver with kids in and out as well. The function of this refrigerator all together is great and the smooth black stainless steel is very nice. We are very happy with this purchase.
